Nirit Harel, is a veteran of the Israeli start-up environment, where she successfully positioned ventures for growth, public offering and acquisition, including MRV Communications which subsequently reached a valuation of $5B (NASDAQ MRVC).
Nirit Harel possesses 20+ years of turnaround, marketing and management experience. As Managing Director and then Chair of Intergam Communications Ltd, one of Israel's most respected tech innovation and European Commission development consultancies, she has negotiated partnerships with world leaders in the European Framework Program/ Horizon 2020, winning and managing multi-year technology development bids for the world's most established and promising innovators alike.
Over the past 15 years, Ms, Harel has increasingly focused her efforts on bringing innovation to the social space, applying high-impact start-up and IR methodology to assist entities in non-profit, impact investing, social mobility- and life-transforming emerging tech in becoming viable, self-sustainable, efficient businesses.
For 7 years she served as founding exec, and at the helm of 2 of the world's largest nonprofits: Maccabi World Union, where she established the North American entity, infrastructure, 501c3 status, and operations for the world’s largest Jewish sports organization and served as VIP liaison to the 18th Maccabiah (Jewish Olympics), the world's 3rd largest sporting event; and The Jewish Agency, the most formidable Jewish non-profit and Israeli public institution, where she assembled the first global marketing infrastructure and team across geographic, language and cultural divides.
Through her consultancy and various ventures, she has assisted tech and impact ventures in entering new markets in 60+ countries. IMPACT MANHATTAN is a full-service strategic marketing consultancy whose mission is to support effective infrastructure, team and brand development for clients in non-profit, impact and social mobility. Subsidiary IMPACT TLV focuses on life-transforming emerging technologies and tech transfer in early-stage high growth global ventures, helping investors to identify high-impact opportunities in the dynamic Israeli market. A frequent speaker on business and philanthropy, as well as on women's leadership and entrepreneurship, she now seeks board opportunities where she can lend her knowledge, energy and marketing strategy experience to high-growth tech ventures, particularly those looking to enter new markets and those seeking to improve quality of life- or wishing to make a positive social impact such as medtech, energy, greentech, agritech, cyber, AI, and smart mobility.
